Admiral Admiral

Bred at Wye College to complement the variety Target. Admiral is used for it's bittering potential and displays a typical English aroma. It grows vigorously, producing small compact cones. Its tolerance to wilt is similar to Progress, but the storage stability of its alpha is considerably better than Target. In early brewing trials, this variety has shown itself to be a good replacement for both high alpha and dual-purpose hops when used as a kettle hop.

** Storage is percent transformation after 6 months at room temperature.
