  • Hops are one of the important ingredients of the beer making process. The main functions of hops are to give beer a distinctive aroma and to provide bitterness to the final beer. The typical beer aromas are produced by adding different hop varieties to the wort kettle.

    The management of the Barth-Haas Group has opted for the implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) based on ISO 9001:2000 in order to provide goods & services of the very best quality to our customers.
    The international HACCP guideline is also part of the QMS and intensifies our continuous improvement regarding quality aspects. Therefore both systems, QM and HACCP system, play a very important role in our our continous improvement process.

    The Quality Management System is supported by our supply chain model, which monitors the quality of goods from the grower's field to the brewer's kettle and ensures an efficient process flow through our organization.
